Handicap List
On the 1st January 2005 the Australian Croquet Association officially introduced a new handicapping system for all Australian association players. It is an automatic handicapping system (AHS) that allows a player’s handicap and index to change, as the results of games in tournaments are recorded on the player’s personal card.
Queensland adopted a modified version of the basic system, where the players index varies from 950 to 3050 while the corresponding handicap varies from 20 to –3. For golf and ricochet croquet the index varies from 100 to 1000 while the corresponding handicap varies from 10 to 0. (Refer to the golf and ricochet croquet table). The attached list, (in clubs) gives the players handicap and index for association, golf and ricochet croquet.
The attached list, (in clubs) gives the players handicap and index. This handicap will only change if the player reaches or passes a trigger point.
Another listing, published quarterly, is also available. It gives the handicap and index of Match Players only, in ranked order, and is based on tournaments played to date since
1st January. Please advise the State Handicapper if you think your handicap is different from that shown.
