Volunteers Needed as Buggy Drivers for Brisbane Anzac Day Parade

posted in: Announcement, Blog, Page | 0

Over the past 5 years Members of the Mcilwraith Croquet Club have volunteered their time to Drive Golf Buggies in the parade and in support of the Brisbane Anzac Day Parade. It is a great day and a chance to spend some time with our veterans. Golf Buggies are very easy to drive and in a couple of minutes you will be comfortable behind the wheel.

Left to Right: Murray Tinker, Philip Rowland, Annette Horne, John Silkstone and Penny Jackson

The organizers of the event appreciate this assistance and wish to open the opportunity for members from other clubs. Would you like to drive returned service personnel in the parade and assist by ferrying participants and officials around the closed streets of Inner City Brisbane on Anzac Day 25 April 2018?
