Players will be seeded on 24 May at 5pm on their World Rankings by the CAQ Selection Committee. If the player has no world ranking then they will be seeded by current handicap and index. The draws will be published on croquetscores.com at least one day before the competition begins. The list of entrants will be available on this site - events.
Registration starts at 7.30am
Play Starts at 8am
Hoops will be set at 3 11/16” with an upward tolerance of zero and a downward tolerance of 1/32”
WCF endorsed balls and hoops will be used.
The games will be played by the CAQ Tournament Regulations and 6th Edition of the WCF GC Rules
Games will be timed at 1 hour - stop on the bell if there is a winner, continue if the game is tied until there is a winner.
The TM will allocate courts for play
Format: Round Robin Block of 13 point games played over two days. There is a block of 17 pairs - there will be seven rounds played each day which means that you will not play everyone in the block. Everyone will play six or seven rounds per day. There will be one pair with a bye in each round.
The running sheets will be sent to each player: one sheet for each day.
Prizes and trophies: The winning couple will be the pair with the most wins and nett hoops in their best 12 games. The prize for the winners - the Tacey & Kerswell Trophy with badges and badges for the Runner Up Pair.
If there is a tie, the winner of the game played between the two will be the winner.
Practice session will be available on Friday 6th 12 - 2pm
Lunches are not available for order - byo lunches
Video and live streaming may be carried out at the competiton
