Members getting to grips with the challenges new lawns bring,

ABOUT US:

The aim of our club is to encourage the sport and provide social activities within the membership of the association, their friends, families and guests and to provide and maintain a prestigious club house and facilities for the enjoyment of members and the community by making them available to the community. The lawns are maintained at a high standard which makes us attractive to experienced players as well as beginners and all age groups. We have players who have represented the state and nation. Coaching is available and mallets may be borrowed for a short time Our friendly members welcome visitors from far and wide and many return regularly.

WE OFFER Association Golf, Ricochet and Gateball Association which is likened to chess on grass and is the traditional game enjoyed by players for centuries. Golf Croquet is a game for all ages and provides a great deal of exercise. Ricochet is more challenging and a cross between the other two. Gateball is a team game played with a smaller ball on a smaller court and is extremely popular in Asian counties. Our Clubhouse is used is by Mahjong players on a Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning and not only does this assist the Club but also the local branch of the Red Cross. Other games such as chess are sometimes played on a Tuesday afternoon.

Club facilities are often available to hire for private functions.

The first games on the lawns were played in March 2018. We were very impressed by how well the new lawns run. Caloundra is now the largest croquet venue in Queensland
