Terry Ericson, one of eight children, was born in Mareeba, graduated from James Cook College, taught in North Queensland before relocating to Brisbane, where he continued his career and was introduced to croquet in 1996. He was a rapid improver, and soon entered and won many events.
So passionate about croquet, Terry, in addition to honing his own skills, became coach and referee of both Association croquet and Golf croquet, passing his knowledge on to upcoming players.
He has represented his State and Country on many occasions:
Terry became – and still is - very involved in his own club, Windsor Croquet Club, which he joined in 1996, encouraging all members to enter club championships to improve their games.
Terry’s personal achievements began early in is career, playing the three codes of Association Croquet, Golf Croquet and Ricochet. He was involved in all Club tournaments, winning the Windsor Club Championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He was also part of Club Championship Doubles in 2004 and 2008.
He progressed early to entering various Queensland tournaments. His awards are too many to list, but some of his achievements include:
Terry’s inter-state and international progress flourished, representing in both Golf Croquet and Association Croquet.

Windsor is proud to have Terry as a member, where he has served on the club committee, coached and refereed and even managed tournaments. He has an outgoing nature and makes croquet a joyful experience. He is still in his 50’s and works full-time yet finds the time to give so much to the sport he, like all of us, enjoys.
