These are the Schools currently involved in Junior Mallet Sports:
Bribie Island Club, has pupils from both Banksia Beach and Bribie Island Primary Schools coming each week to play Gateball. The children come from Grades 5 – 7. The students from Banksia Beach School have been coming to our club for over 12 months.
Graceville Club, has students from St Peters Lutheran College Grade 11 playing every second week.
Windsor Croquet Club has had Year 6 students from St. Margaret’s School for Golf Croquet during April and May.
Southport Croquet Club taught Gateball at Coombabah Primary School as part of the Active After School Program during May and June and also at Emmanuel College in February and March.
Wynnum Croquet Club taught Golf Croquet, Ricochet and Gateball at Hilliard State School, at San Sisto College, at Carina State School, at Wondall Heights State School, and as part of the Active After School Program at the Bayside PYC from March until June.
Murwillumbah Croquet Club hosted students in Years 7-10 from the Tweed Valley College at their club. The students played Golf Croquet for 6 sessions in May and June, 2011.
Rockhampton Croquet Club taught Gateball to students from Keppel Sands School in June. In addition, the coaches taught Gateball and Golf Croquet to students from St Peter”s Catholic School from April to June.
Capricorn Coast Croquet Club coached students in September from Cawarral S School to prepare them for the Interschool competition that was between 4 small schools in the Keppel Sands region. Again this year four coaches from Capricorn Coast supervised this annual competition between these schools.
Two coaches from McIwraith Croquet Club conducted 7 weeks of Gateball as part of the AASC Program at St Ita’s School during Term 3.
Southport Croquet Club provided 7 weeks of Gateball to students at Broadbeach State School under the AASC program during Term 3. As well Gateball was taught for 5 weeks at Musgrave Hill State School during P.E. classes for students from years 4-7.
Wynnum Croquet Club once again taught Gateball for 7 weeks to pupils at Wondall Heights State School during Term 3 under the AASC Program.
