Joy and Heather have been wonderful members and great friends to us all. Both have been very active in the running of the Club and helped to raise much of the money needed to buy mowers and other equipment that the Club now enjoys. Many a day would see Heather sitting in the main street selling raffle tickets.
Heather joined in 1984 and has been Treasurer since 2009. Joy joined in 1989 and held the positions of Secretary/treasurer for many years. Over the years Joy and Heather have been very active in encouraging new players to enjoy and improve their game of croquet.
In recognition of the many years they have contributed to the Club's success, Heather was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in 2007 and Life Membership in 2009. Joy was awarded Life Membership in 2013.
The Club wishes them well and look forward to seeing them for the odd cup of tea.
