As you may be aware in 2022 Griffith University launched a Women in Sport Strategy which aims to improve outcomes for all women in sport and particularly in the areas of Elite Sport, Research, Education and Leadership, Partnerships and Engagement and Social/Community Impact. A copy of the Strategy is in the link provided.
As a part of this Strategy Griffith announced Women in Sport Leadership scholarships. These scholarships are designed to provide support for women currently working in sport to progress their careers within the industry. These scholarships provide 50% tuition eligible for the Griffith MBA program, which is ranked as the Number 1 values-based MBA worldwide, and also for the Grad Cert in Leadership and Management or the Grad Cert in Business Administration.
- note that these scholarships do not require the applicant to be an athlete or a former athlete, they are aimed at women leaders or aspiring leaders currently working in sport. Ideally sporting organisations would provide additional financial support for the scholarship recipients, although this is not required.
This course is fully flexible and offered online (or face to face) to make it accessible Australia wide.....or while travelling internationally!
