AUSTRALIAN UNDER 21 GOLF CROQUET CHAMPIONSHIP

Born after 1 January 2002 and play croquet?

Strive to become Australia’s next Under 21 Champion!

The fifth Australian Under 21 Golf Croquet Championship is a unique opportunity to hone skills against players of similar age and experience. The location of this event, being held at Eildon Croquet Club, Woody Point in Redcliffe, Queensland during the summer holidays, perfect for exploring Queensland’s famous tourist attractions. Limited billets are available for competitors and their parents.

Play will be over three days from Saturday 14 to Monday 16 January 2023. The Singles format will be best of 3 game matches, as a round robin or in blocks depending on the number of entries; and Doubles will also be held if enough entries. The 2022 Rules of Golf Croquet will be used, available on the Croquet Australia website.

The winner will be awarded the Australian Under 21 Golf Croquet Perpetual Trophy and ACA gold medal. Runner Up receives a silver medal.

In addition, the inaugural U21 Gold+Silver Medals will be held on Wed 11 to Friday 13 Jan 2023. This follows U21 Bronze Medal events in each State. The winner will receive a discount airfare to New Zealand and accommodation for the duration of the NZ Under 21 Championships 7-11 April 2023.

                                                                      Entry Fee is AUD $35 for the Singles & $17 each for the Doubles.

                                                              Closing Date is Friday 16 December, 2022 (midnight Western Australian time)

Competitors from New South Wales and Victoria can take advantage of their state’s Junior Scholarships to help with expenses and other states will assist where possible.
