SHIRLEY EAMES – 1/12/1952-9/4/2026
Shirley was a much loved and active member of Headland-Buderim Club, playing both golf croquet and ricochet.Shirley was a great team player, always ready to “give it a go”, working backstage at competitions as well as participating in them.
In 2025 Shirley was the club president, and she was preparing to carry on as club grants officer, when struck down suddenly and tragically with motor neurone disease in October 2025.Her condition progressed rapidly and she was admitted to palliative care in March.She passed away peacefully on 9 April, surrounded by her family.
Her funeral is at Gregson and Weight Funerals, 159 Wises Road Buderim, on Friday 17th April at 10.30am.
